Summary:A non-woven fabric for a waistband of a disposable diaper is provided to maintain cleanliness of the diaper by improving adhesion of the diaper to the waist skin of an infant and preventing printing liquid printed on the surface of the diaper from being transferred to the skin of the infant, and prevent coupling force from being dropped even when the hooks are repetitiously used by increasing elasticity of coupling holes to which hooks are coupled. A non-woven fabric(1) for a waistband of a disposable diaper includes a plurality of protrusions(2) projected to a predetermined height from the surface of the non-woven fabric, coupling holes(3) which are formed on the top side of the protrusions, and to which hooks are coupled, and a sheet film(4) fixedly adhered to the back side of the non-woven fabric by an ordinary adhesive(5). The non-woven fabric is a non-woven fabric formed from polyolefin staple fibers having a weight of 30 to 50 g/m^2 and a bonding area of 11 to 18%. The coupling holes have a diameter of 1 to 5 mm, and the protrusions have a projecting height of 1 to 5 mm. The sheet film is made from a polypropylene film having a thickness of 15 to 20 microns. The adhesive is one-part or two-part environmentally friendly adhesive harmless to the human body.
