A composition for preventing or treating obesity comprises a citrus extract or compound of the chemical formulas 1 to 4 isolated from the extract. The citrus extract is contained in 0.01 to 50 weight% based on the weight of total composition. The compound is contained in 0.001 to 50 weight% based on total weight.
