Summary:A heat conducting sheet simultaneously having high thermal conductivity and high flexibility is obtained by providing a heat conducting sheet of composition containing graphite grains (A) shaped like a scale, elliptic sphere or rod having its 6-membered ring plane in crystal oriented in the plane direction of the scale, the major axis direction of the elliptic sphere or the long axis of the rod and organic polymeric compound (B) of 50°C or below Tg and orienting the heat conducting sheet so that the plane direction of the scale, the major axis direction of the elliptic sphere or the long axis of the rod of the graphite grains (A) agrees with the direction of thickness of the heat conducting sheet to thereby cause the area of graphite grains (A) exposed on the surface of the heat conducting sheet to range from 25 to 80% and cause the Ascar C hardness at 70°C thereof to be 60 or below. Further, there is provided a process for securely producing a heat conducting sheet with advantages in productivity, cost and energy efficiency, and provided, for example, a radiator with high radiation capability utilizing the heat conducting sheet.
