A micro-wave oven cooking method comprises: when a cooking key selecting a cooking process of the food is inputted(S10), a step(S20) for determining whether the cooling key controlling the cool-down period is inputted or not; when the cooling key is inputted, a step for setting up the cool-down period which is suitable for the food kind and cooking time according to the cooking key input; a step(S40) for cooking the food during the cooking time after the cool-down period is set up; when the cooking time is over, a step(S60) for cooling the food during the cool-down period.
