Summary:A cosmetic composition containing fermented extract of plant is provided to have the effects of scalp protection and skin sedation and protect hair loss. A cosmetic composition comprises 0.1-20 weight% of fermented extract of plant containing pine needles, mori Radicis Cortex, green tea, chrysanthemum morifolium, galla Rhois, scutellariae Radix, lonicerae Flos, and salicornia herbacea. The ferment extract of plant is obtained by heating pine needles, mori Radicis Cortex, green tea, chrysanthemum morifolium, galla Rhois, scutellariae Radix, lonicerae Flos, salicornia herbacea at 80-100°C for 30 minutes to one hour; fermenting the extract at 30-60°C, pH 5.5-8.5 with bacillus sp. to obtain macromolecule; sterilizing the macromolecule; extracting with purified water or ethanol as an organic solvent; collecting the extract; concentrating; and purifying.
