Summary:A pharmaceutical composition for treating liver disease and improving liver function is provided to enhance the treatment effect of liver disease by mixing two kinds of antioxidant. A pharmaceutical composition for treating liver disease and improving liver function comprises biphenyl methyl dicarboxylate and arginine thiozolidine carboxylate in a weight ratio of 1-25:1-200 as active ingredients. The pharmaceutical composition contains 25mg of biphenyl methyl dicarboxylate and 200mg of arginine thiozolidine carboxylate. The pharmaceutical composition further comprises at least one of pharmaceutically allowable carrier. The composition is used in a form of tablet, capsule or suspension.
