Summary:A method and a system for sending an SMS by using a universal serial bus device having a validation key are provided to determine whether a sending person is identical through access of an authentication server of an SMS control system, thereby having no need of security, validation or join processes of the sending person. A system for sending an SMS by using a universal serial bus device having a validation key comprises a USB(Universal Serial Bus) device(110), an SMS control system(200), and a communication system(300). The USB device stores a validation key and a charging amount of money of a sending person. An SMS control system comprises a validation server(210), an SMRS server(220) and an SMTS server(230). The validation server determines whether a password of the validation key is the same as an input validation password. The communication system receives an SMS which is inputted to the SMTS server. And the communication system sends the SMS to a mobile communication terminal(310) of a user through a mobile communication service provider.
