Summary:A coating composition is provided to prevent disease and to maintain freshness of flowering plants environment-friendly by restricting generation of toxic gas and moisture. A coating composition for freshness maintenance and controlling pathogen invasion includes 40-60 weight% of liquid calcium, 10-30 weight% rotenone, 5-15 weight% of vegetable wax emulsion, 10-20 weight% of alcohol, and 0.0000004-0.000001 weight% of a silver particle. The liquid calcium is acquired by acting a shell of an oyster with acid. The liquid calcium includes 4-5 of pH and the calcium content of 12-18%(w/v).
