The connection device (6) connects the input shaft (16) of the batch kneading device (1) and the output shaft (19) of the drive device (2) for driving the batch kneading device (1). The connection device has a gear coupling part (5) capable of connecting the input shaft (16) of the batch kneading device (1) and the output shaft (19) of the drive device (2) with both shaft eccentric to each other, a gear (24) meshed with the gear coupling part (5) so as to slide relative to the gear coupling part (5) in the face width direction of the gears as the gear coupling part (5) rotates, and an oil bath lubricating part (46) for lubricating the gear (24).
