Summary:A method for managing the wireless access in consideration of the load of an access point and an apparatus thereof are provided to check the load of an access point and block the access from the time when the scanning process for the access attempts of stations is performed if the checked load exceeds a critical load value. When a station broadcasts a probe request(Probe_Req) signal as scanning access points(AP), the transceiving unit of an access point(AP) apparatus receives the probe request(Probe_Req) signal(S50). A load calculation unit calculates the load of the access point apparatus(S51). A load comparison unit compares the calculated load value with a predetermined critical load value(S52). If the calculated load value is smaller that the critical load value, the load comparison unit transmits a probe response(Probe_Res) signal(S53). When a specific access point apparatus receives an authentication request(Auth Req) signal(S54), an access controlling unit of the corresponding access point apparatus transmits an authentication response(Auth Res) signal(S55).
