Summary: | A ceramic powder that is used in a semiconductor sealing material, etc. and that is mixed into a rubber or resin, etc. to prepare a composition excelling in heat resistance and flame retardancy. The ceramic powder has a multipeaked frequency particle size distribution having at least two peaks in the particle size measured by a laser diffraction scattering particle size distribution meter, wherein the maximum particle diameter of a first peak is in the range of 40 to 80 mum and the maximum particle diameter of a second peak in the range of 3 to 8 mum, and wherein the ratio of particles of 20 to below 40 mum is 20 mass% or less (including 0%). |
