Summary: | A semiconductor memory device having sub word-line drivers is provided to operate semiconductor memory device normally in regardless of the fault of the sub word lines by controlling the layout of the sub word lines. A plurality of sub driver domains(403) is located between a plurality of sub-array regions(405) and plurality of sub-array region frames. A plurality of sub-word line drivers(407) is arranged in the sub driver region, and the sub word line(409) is connected to sub-word line drivers. Sub word lines are arranged across the sub-array region. The first sub word line(409a) is arranged at the left side from the top of the sub-word line driver, and the second sub word line(409b) is arranged at the right side from the lower part of the sub-word line driver. |
