Summary:A decelerating method of the auto transmission is provided to prevent the impact delivered to the transmission by lessening the slip amount of turbine and engine. A decelerating method of the auto transmission includes the first step measuring the automotive engine temperature; the second step measuring the revolution per minute; the third step measuring the slip amount which is the difference of the turbine rotation number and revolution per minute; the fourth stage searching the shift spot which is less than those of the target slip value in which the slip amount measured in the third step is set up in advance; the fifth step performing the shift at the spot searched by the forth step.
