A mousse type UV blocking cosmetic composition comprises: 1-20 wt.% of an organic UV blocking agent; 0.1-20 wt.% of wax or oil; 0.1-10 wt.% of a non-ionic surfactant; 0.1-10 wt.% of a fatty alcohol; 0.1-5 wt.% of a UV blocking booster; and 0.1-5 wt.% of a useful polymer ingredient.
