Summary: | When operation of an engine is stopped, rotation of the engine is lowered smoothly after elapsing a predetermined time of self sustaining operation of the engine at stop rotation speed. Nstop, and lowering of the rotation speed Ne of the engine is started (S100, S140, S150, S170, S180) by setting a lowering vibration suppressing torque for suppressing a vibration produced incident to lowering of rotation as the torque command Tm1* of a motor MG1. A correction torque Tmod is then set (S200) based on the crank angle CA and the engine water temperature Tw when the rotation speed Ne reaches a threshold Nref, and the set correction torque Tmod is added to the lowering vibration suppressing torque at lowering to set the added value as the torque command Tm1* of the motor MG1 (S210). The engine is prevented from exceeding the top dead center immediately before stopping and vibration otherwise caused by exceeding the top dead center is suppressed. |
