Summary:A cherry blossom type lighting device is provided to display advertising messages on a display unit mounted on the top of a lighting device at the same time as lighting. A cherry blossom type lighting device includes a letter display unit(100) representing letter messages at a branch. The letter display unit includes a bunch case(101) having connectors electrically connected with a branch and plural holes(102) at a side of the bunch case, a moving bar(105) moved according to operation of a solenoid in the bunch case, plural flanges(106) formed on a surface of the moving bar, and plural connecting bars(107) having cherry blossom type lighting elements(108) embedded with an LED(Light Emitting Display,109) and coupled with the flanges through the holes. The solenoid and the LED are controlled selectively under the control of a main controller.
