Summary:An EPG time selection method and a broadcasting receiving apparatus using the same are provided to select non-sequentially one of time zones arranged on a screen to change a time axis in an EPG, thereby enabling a user to changing the time axis intuitively and easily. A program selection window and an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information window are generated and added to a video which will be displayed on a display(S310). The program selection window is used for selecting one of arranged programs. The EPG information window includes a selection unit used for selecting one of arranged time zones. Selection for one of the arranged time zones is inputted through the selection unit. Display contents of the program selection window are converted in correspondence with the selection time zone(S350).
