Summary:A washing machine having a detergent mixing chamber is provided to measure the amount of liquid detergent in a detergent mixing chamber, thereby improving convenience. A washing machine comprises a liquid detergent storage(190), and a detergent mixing chamber(120) having a first inlet(121) and a second inlet. The second inlet is composed of a hot water inlet(122) and a cold water inlet(123). The liquid detergent is supplied from the liquid detergent storage into the detergent mixing chamber through the first inlet and the amount of the supplied liquid detergent is measured. The water is supplied into the mixing chamber through the second inlet, mixed with the liquid detergent and drained into a tub.
