Summary:A storage device and a control device are provided to reduce the magnitude of clock frequency and a gate in a recording device by controlling the position of a head on the basis of the arithmetic result from first and second DSPs(Digital Signal Processor). A storage device comprises a first DSP(21), a second DSP(22), and a first control part for controlling the position of a head with respect to a recording medium. The first control part performs a command to the first and second DSPs, and controls the position of the head by the use of the arithmetic result from the first and second DSPs. The first DSP performs at least one of demodulating arithmetic for demodulating the information of servo and digital filtering arithmetic on the basis of the command from the first control part. The second DSP performs correcting arithmetic for correcting the position on the basis of the command from the first control part. The demodulating arithmetic calculates the position of the head by demodulating the information of servo read from the recording medium by the head.
