Summary:A remote meter-reading system in an underground line using a power line communication is provided to perform remote meter-reading in an underground line of a wide range by installing at least one repeater and line bridge between a high voltage line and a low voltage line. A remote meter-reading system in an underground line using a power line communication includes a data transmission device(60), and a central control device(50). The data transmission device is installed on a ground transformer, and transmits meter-reading data, which is transmitted from a wattmeter through a low voltage line, to a high voltage line. The central control device is installed on at least one of the ground transformer, a ground switch, and a vertical pipe installed on an outer wall of a user house. The central control device receives data, which is transmitted through the high voltage line by the data transmission device, transmits the received data to a remote meter-reading server.
