Summary:A seal mask and a method for manufacturing an electrophoresis display element by using the same are provided to thin a mother substrate without the loss of a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array. A mask substrate includes a TFT array, a pad part(173), and a common line(171). The pad part provides a signal to the TFT array. The common line is connected with the pad part. The mask substrate is overlapped with a mother substrate in which a plurality of unit display elements is formed. A plurality of opening parts is overlapped with four edge parts of each of the unit display elements.
