Summary: | A method for minimizing distribution of the open circuit voltage(OCV) of a cylindrical lithium secondary battery is provided to prevent degradation of lifespan, quality and safety of the battery caused by unbalanced voltages among unit cells. A method for minimizing distribution of the open circuit voltage(OCV) of a cylindrical lithium secondary battery comprises the steps of: aging a battery for infiltration of an electrolyte; charging the battery to a fully charged state to activate the battery and to remove defected batteries generated during the preceding aging step; further aging the battery to activate the battery and to check the OCV; fully discharging the battery to select the capacity; charging the battery to maintain the voltage in an entered state; and connecting unit cells(100) forming a battery pack in parallel to adjust the distribution of OCVs of the unit cells. |
