Summary:A swirl control apparatus for reducing surge of an intake system for a vehicle having a turbocharger is provided to improve the low speed performance of an engine restricted due to surge by adjusting swirl of air introduced into a compressor. A swirl control apparatus for reducing surge of an intake system for a vehicle having a turbocharger comprises a flap tool(20) and an electronic control unit(25). The flap tool is installed at an inner side of an intake hose(4), which guides introduced air to a compressor of a turbocharger, to adjust swirl of the air passing through the intake hose by using a flap. The electronic control unit outputs a control signal to adjust swirl of the air passing through the intake hose according to operation conditions of an engine. An actuator(24) adjusts an angle of the flap according to the control signal output from the electronic control unit.
