Summary:A method for enhancing the aldehyde oxidase activity is provided to remove toxicity of various aldehyde compounds by controlling the aldehyde oxidase activity and increase the production capability by controlling the plant development. A method for enhancing the aldehyde oxidase activity comprises a step of treating a plant with auxin, wherein the auxin is a natural auxin such as indole-3-acetic acid(IAA), indole-3-butyric acid(IBA) and 4-chloroindole-3-acetic acid(4-Cl-IAA) or a synthetic auxin such as 1-naphthalene acetic acid(1-NAA), beta-naphthoxy acetic acid, 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid(2,4-D), 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxy acetic acid(2,4,5-T), 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy acetic acid(MPCA), 2,4,6-trichlorobenzoic acid, 2,3,6-trichlorobenzoic acid, 2-methoxy-3,6-dichlorobenzoic acid and 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolic acid. An anti-aldehyde oxidase peptide antibody has a sequence of Ser Asn Thr Gly Ser Gly Val Tyr Lys Asp Gln Asp Leu Tyr Asp Lys Tyr Ile Asp.
