Summary:An electronic stick for the visually handicapped and a method for guiding a road by using the same are provided to inform a fork and existence of a traffic light to the visually handicapped and prevent an accident due to erroneous operation of peripheral traffic lights by operating only a traffic light within a predetermined distance. An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag(120) is embedded in a block(110), including peculiar identification information and road guide information. Information related to each road is included in an electronic stick(100). Road guide information stored in the electronic stick is searched based on the peculiar identification information of the RFID tag to output the searched contents. The electronic stick possessed by the visually handicapped recognizes the RFID tag embedded in the block and reads information of the state of a road embedded in the RFID tag. The electronic stick outputs the read road guide information through a voice.
