Summary:A shift register and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to restrain degradation of a pull-down transistor by reducing a high voltage sustain period of a node for controlling the pull-down transistor. A shift register includes first and second stages(51,52). The first stage charges/discharges a first node(QA) using a first controller so that a first output terminal is charged to a first node voltage. The first stage charges/discharges second and third nodes(QBOA,QBEA) using second and third controllers so that the first output terminal is discharged to second and third node voltages. The second stage includes a fourth node(QB), a fifth node(QBOB), and a sixth node(QBEB). The second stage charges/discharges a fourth node using a fourth controller so that a second output terminal is charged to a fourth node voltage. The second stage charges/discharges the fifth and sixth nodes using fifth and sixth controllers so that the second output terminal is discharged to fifth and sixth node voltages.
