An apparatus and a method for supplying water to a unit chair for dental clinic are provided to prevent the water for dental clinic from being contaminated by air by blocking contact of the air with the water, to maximize sterilization efficiency and sterilizing power, and to supply sterilized and clean water stably. An apparatus for supplying water to a unit chair(1) comprises: a filtration portion(110) consisting of a sediment filter(111) and a membrane filter(112) to purify tap water without filtering a chlorine ingredient contained in the tap water; a water tank(120) which stores the water including the chlorine ingredient purified by passing through the filtration portion and is filled up with the purified water to prevent air from being flown in and contacting; a discharge lamp(130) which is placed inside the water tank to generate UV wavelength and ozone generation wavelength and induces generation of hydrochlorous acid in the water tank; and a first pump(142) installed at a transfer pipe(141) to supply the sterilized water for dental clinic to the unit chair. A method for supplying water to a unit chair comprises the steps of: filtering tap water to make a chlorine ingredient contained in the tap water remaining in the purified water; filling a water tank with the purified water to store the purified water with blocking contact with air; sterilizing the purified water through generation of OH radicals inducing auto-decomposition of ozone and reaction with water molecules in the water tank and generation of hydrochlorous acid inducing reaction with the chlorine ingredient and the water molecule by using a discharge lamp to prepare water for dental clinic; and supplying the water for dental clinic to the unit chair.
