A structure for improving assembling work of a fuel filler housing is provided to improving mounting work and size accuracy of the fuel filler housing by fixing the housing to a vehicle body without using a clip. A structure for improving assembling work of a fuel filler housing comprises a fuel filler housing(100) provided in an opening formed at a side surface of a vehicle body and including a hook groove formed along an upper inner circumference surface and a hook part formed along a lower inner circumference surface, a weather strip(200) provided with a hook projection and inserted into the hook groove for increasing sealing strength of the fuel filler housing, and an elastic ring(300) inserted into the hook part of the fuel filler housing and enabling the fuel filler housing to hold a vehicle body panel.
