Summary: | A circuit and method for compensating a light emitting diode is provided to prevent voltage drop due to parasitic capacitor and a conductive resistor when an organic light emitting diode is turned on. At least one light emitting diode is turned on or off in accordance with a control signal. A compensation circuit(30) is provided on a front end of the light emitting diode to supply a current corresponding to the voltage previously charged in a charge device to the light emitting diode when the light emitting diode is turned on in accordance with the control signal. An A/D converter(20) is supplied with the voltage to be applied to the light emitting diode to convert the voltage into a sampling voltage. A controller detects the voltage within a detection time to transmit it to the A/D converter and supplies the sampling voltage to apply the sampling voltage to both ends of the light emitting diode while the light emitting diode is turned off. |
