Summary:A planar beam source driving circuit of a liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by improving power consumption and beam efficiency through an energy recovering circuit technique. A coupled inductor(20), whose secondary inductor is coupled with both ends of a planar beam source, supplies a driving voltage to the planar beam source. A source capacitor(Cs) between a primary inductor of the coupled inductor and a ground stores a voltage. A first capacitor(C1) between the primary inductor of the coupled inductor and a voltage source charges or discharges a voltage. A cathode of first diode(d1) is connected to the voltage source and an anode thereof is connected to the primary inductor. A first switch(S1) between the voltage source and the primary inductor executes a switching operation. A second capacitor(C2) between the primary inductor and the ground charges or discharges a voltage. A cathode of a second diode(d2) is connected to the primary inductor and an anode thereof is connected to the ground. A second switch(S2) between the primary inductor and the ground executes a switching operation.
