Summary:A system and a method for providing a betting game using images of a sports match are provided to enable gamers to enjoy the betting games by making the gamers select a position of a ball on the provided image with a mouse or a keyboard. A gamer managing module(110) registers the gamers as a member, authenticates the member, and provides various kinds of information to the member by responding to a request of the member. A game image providing module(120) extracts a predetermined image from the image of the sports match, removes the extracted image from the sports match image, and transmits the different images according to betting periods to a terminal of a game user. A correct answer checking module(130) determines whether an answer received from the member terminal is correct by comparing a betting image which is transmitted from the sports match image after the member selects the betting region with the initially extracted image. A betting/rewarding module(140) provides rewards for a correct answer to the member transmitting the correct answer.
