Summary:An apparatus for preventing detachment of an oil seal is provided to prevent leakage of oil in a case by inserting the oil seal into a groove formed on the case, as well as holding the oil seal in the groove. A rotary is inserted into a case, and an oil seal(50) is interposed between the rotary and the case. An oil seal receiving groove(52) is formed on the rotary or the case, in which a diameter of the oil seal receiving groove increases gradually in an insertion direction of the oil seal. The case is a differential case(60), and the rotary is a side gear(62) mounted in the differential case.
