An apparatus(100) for assembling a positive temperature coefficient(PTC) device in a battery cell comprises: a conveyor(10) including a conveying path(12) through which battery cells are conveyed; a supplying unit(40) for supplying the battery cells to the conveying path of the conveyer; a welding unit(30) for welding a PTC device to the battery cell conveyed through the conveying path; and a taping unit(50) for protecting the welding portion with an insulation tape after the welding.
