Summary: | An evaporator assembly for an ice maker and a method for manufacturing thereof is provided to eliminate ice easily and to reduce electricity consumption by forming an uneven part on a surface of an ice plate and a refrigerant pipe. A method for manufacturing an evaporator assembly for an ice maker comprises the steps: piping and welding a refrigerant pipe at a back of a metal ice plate wherein a plurality of pocket units are aligned(S101); injecting a test agent into the refrigerant pipe for testing water leakage(S102); discharging the test agent from the refrigerant pipe and cleaning and drying the evaporator assembly(S103); injecting the evaporator assembly to a sanding unit to process a sand blast treatment for entire surfaces of the ice plate and the refrigerant pipe, and forming a fine uneven part on the surface of the ice plate and the refrigerant pipe to increase surface area(S104); washing and drying the evaporator assembly(S105); and electrically plating entire surface of the ice plate and the refrigerant pipe with a tin or non-electrolytically plating with a nickel(S106,S107). |
