Summary: | A zoom lens is provided to improve the productivity by reducing the number of aspherical lenses in the assembly while maintaining a wide angle of view and a high variable magnification ratio at the same time. A zoom lens includes lens groups arranged sequentially from an object to an image plane(30), a first lens group(G1) with a positive refraction power, a second lens group(G2) with a negative refraction power, a third lens group(G3) with a positive refraction power, a fourth lens group(G4) with a positive refraction power, and a fifth lens group(G5) with a positive refraction power. The third lens group(G3) includes an iris diaphragm(ST) from the object to the image plane sequentially and a cemented lens of positive and negative lenses. The zoom lens changes distances between adjacent lens groups in varying magnification ratio. |
