Summary:The invention relates to a polycarbonate which is characterised by the fact that the proportion of carbamate derivatives of formula (I), which are measured in the acetone extract of said polycarbonate resin, is 0,2-300 ppm (1), wherein R1 and R2 independently represent hydrogen or C1-C12-alkyl or R1 and R2 represent together C4-C12-alkylides, R3 and R4 independently represent hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl or phenyl, or R3 and R4 with carbon atoms whereon they are connected, forming cyclohexyle or trimethylcyclohexyle, R5 represents hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl, C5-C12-cycloalkyl, phenyl or cumyl.
