Summary: | A system for denitrifying high-temperature exhaust gas and a method for denitrifying the high-temperature exhaust gas using the system are provided to enable the utilization of general ammonia-based SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) facilities, by controlling high-temperature exhaust gas to have a temperature suitable for the optimum denitrifying efficiency. A reaction chamber has a heat exchanging part(43) for controlling the temperature of exhaust gas. The reaction chamber mixes the exhaust gas, urea water, and air to transform the urea water into ammonia, wherein the exhaust gas has the optimum temperature by the heat exchanging part. A urea water supplying part(1) and an air supplying part(2) supply the urea water and the air to the reaction chamber, respectively. A reactor(5) denitrifies the mixed gas from the reaction chamber, thereby removing nitrogen oxide from the mixed gas. A heat exchanger(6) recovers heat from the mixed gas within the reactor by heat-exchanging with the reactor. |
