Summary: | A disposer washing method is provided to clean effectively a disposer without disassembling the disposer or staining hands by washing a disposer with centrifugal force generated in rapidly turning a rotary plate with continuously feeding the stored water. In a method for washing a disposer(1) having a rotary plate(8) installed at the bottom of a crushing chamber(7) positioned next to an input port(6), crushing food garbage by installing a fixing blade(10) surrounding the rotary plate, on an inner wall of the crushing chamber, and dropping the crushed food garbage together with water to a discharge chamber(11) from the periphery of the rotary plate, a trap(16) is formed by disposing an elbow unit(15) at a discharge pipe(14) connected with the discharge chamber. The air filled in the discharge chamber and the upper part of the crushing chamber is trapped by blocking up an air passage of the discharge chamber and the crushing chamber by feeding the water to the upside of the rotary plate of the crushing chamber, while the rotary plate stops. The outflow amount of the water ejected from a discharge port(13) is limited by air pressure. The water is stored in the discharge chamber and the crushing chamber due to difference between the limited outflow amount and the supply amount of water. A centrifugal force is applied to the water stored in the discharge chamber and the crushing chamber by the rotation of the rotary plate, with continuously feeding the water if the water is filled up correspondently to the consumed amount. |
