Summary:A plasma display apparatus is provided to enhance image quality by elongating an operation interval of discharge cells based on a timing control signal. A plasma display apparatus includes an upper board, a lower board opposite to the upper board, drivers(200,300,400), and a memory(600). The lower board opposite to the upper board includes discharge cells, which are formed by at least one barrier ribs. The drivers supply driving voltages to at least one electrodes which are formed on the upper and lower boards. The memory stores a timing control signal for controlling the drivers and signal processing data according to images which is inputted from the outside. A controller(500) controls switching timing of the drivers, so that the timing control signal is stored in the memory after applying a synchronous signal for synchronizing a start timing of a frame.
