Summary:A wireless system for monitoring a manhole is provided to remotely monitor the state of the manhole by collecting sensing information about the manhole through a collecting terminal, collecting and classifying plural manhole sensing information through a relay terminal, and then transmitting the manhole sensing information to a server through a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module by wireless communication. A wireless system for monitoring a manhole is composed of a terminal unit equipped with at least one of an opening and closing sensor, a water level sensor, and a temperature sensor, to detect the internal state of the manhole by using the sensor; plural collecting terminals(10) collecting sensing information of the manhole detected by the sensor from the terminal unit and having a wireless communication module; a relay terminal(20) collecting and classifying plural manhole sensing information received from plural manhole sensing information and transmitting the manhole sensing information to a server(30) through the communication module by wireless communication; and the server receiving plural manhole sensing information from the relay terminal by wireless communication by using the communication module and displaying the present state of plural manholes in real time by using the received sensing information.
