Summary: | A composition comprising a Nanog protein is provided to induce de-differentiation of astrocytes into neural stem cell, thereby being able to treat various diseases by using the de-differentiated neural stem cell. The composition comprises a Nanog protein or a nucleic acid including a nucleotide sequence coding a Nanog protein. The method for inducing de-differentiation of astrocytes into neural stem cell comprises the steps of: (a) culturing astrocytes in a culture medium; (b) treating the astrocytes with the Nanog protein or the nucleic acid including the nucleotide sequence coding the Nanog protein; and (c) inducing the de-differentiation of the astrocytes into neural stem cell. |
