A lid opening and closing device is provided to rotate a lid rotatably supported by a case between a close position to cover a slot formed at a case and an opening position to expose the slot. A lid opening and closing device includes a locking mechanism, a sustaining unit, and a rotation mechanism. The locking mechanism prohibits a lid(31) from rotating to an open position exposing an inlet when the lid is maintained at a locking position. The sustaining unit maintains the lid between the locking position and the locking release position. The sustaining unit is closed inside of an adjacent side surface at one surface when the lid maintains at the locking position. The sustaining unit is separated from the inside when the lid is maintained at the locking release position. The rotation mechanism rotates the lid to the opening position around an end part of the lid position in a sliding direction when the lid is maintained at the locking release position.
