Summary: | A new aluminum-based sintered alloy product for improving low mechanical properties and wear resistance of conventional aluminum-based sintered alloy products at the same time, a method of manufacturing an aluminum-based sintered alloy product with excellent strength and wear resistance, and a mixed powder for manufacturing the aluminum-based sintered alloy product with excellent strength and wear resistance are provided. An aluminum-copper-zinc based sintered alloy product comprises: 5.5 to 9 wt.% of Cu; 1 to 5 wt.% of Zn; and the balance of Al. A method of manufacturing an aluminum sintered alloy product comprises: mixing 5.5 to 9 wt.% of Cu powder, 1 to 5 wt.% of Zn powder and the balance of Al powder to form a mixed powder; compression molding the mixed powder to form a green compact; and subjecting the green compact to liquid-phase sintering to form a sintered body. The method further comprises: re-compressing the sintered body; and heat-treating the re-compressed sintered body. A mixed powder for manufacturing an aluminum-copper-zinc based sintered alloy product comprises: 5.5 to 9 wt.% of Cu powder; 1 to 5 wt.% of Zn powder; and the balance of Al powder. |
