Summary:A method for conducting location tracking and copy prevention functions by using an embedded fixed-type supplementary battery of a user device and an apparatus therefor are provided to be mounted with the fixed supplementary battery which is not detachable except an external battery, thereby effectively conducting a location tracking function when a user is in an emergency situation or a mobile phone is lost or stolen. If a mobile phone performs a normal operation after being powered on(202,204), the mobile phone consumes power of an external main battery(206). If a user randomly powers off the mobile phone, the mobile phone is converted into a power supply mode using an embedded fixed-type supplementary battery(210). The mobile phone enters a super power-saving emergency power management mode(212), and automatically operates a mobile phone locking device(214). If a finder forcibly separates the supplementary battery(216), an overcurrent is induced to an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a mobile phone modem chip(218), to induce a disabled state by applying fatal damage(220).
