Summary: | A method of manufacturing a porcelain insulator is provided to prolong the lifespan of the porcelain insulator by increasing a surface tension of the porcelain insulator to prevent pollutants from conglomerating on the porcelain insulator. A chemical containing a methyl group of a concentration between 0.1M and 0.3M is mixed with PriOH at a room temperature. Nitride acid and water is added to the mixed result such that a sol for coating is obtained. The sol for coating is applied on a surface of a porcelain insulator. The porcelain insulator is dried. Heat is applied on the surface of the porcelain insulator. The chemical containing methyl group is selected from the group consisting of MTES(Methyl Tetra Ethyl Silane), TCMS(Tri Chloro Methyl Silane), and DMDES(Di Methyl Di Epoxy Silane). |
