An apparatus for remotely monitoring a vehicle state by using a removable multimedia player panel for a vehicle is provided to receive a state of the vehicle in a remote place by using the removable panel of a multimedia player, monitor the vehicle state such as the robbery or breakage of the vehicle and the battery discharge of the vehicle, and perform control operation such as the opening and closing operation of a door of the vehicle and the remote starting operation of the vehicle. A wireless communication interface unit(310) receives vehicle state information through a wireless communication network. A vehicle state information read unit extracts the vehicle state information. A display unit(330) displays the vehicle state information. A vehicle state information generating unit(350) and a communication interface unit(360) are installed in a vehicle to which a vehicle state remote monitoring apparatus is attached. The vehicle state information generating unit(350) generates the vehicle state information on the basis of sensors disposed in respective components of the vehicle. The communication interface unit(360) transmits the vehicle state information to the vehicle state remote monitoring apparatus through the wireless communication network.
