Summary:A front panel device for a car audio of a mounting and demounting type is provided to more usefully use a separated front panel by adding a portable multimedia play function in the front panel of the car audio capable of being separated to prevent the robbery of the car audio. A power supply unit(475) supplies driving power to each component of a front panel device. A storing device(430) stores multimedia files, a multimedia file play program, and a codec. An audio signal processing unit(450) processes an audio signal and outputs the processed audio signal to a speaker(455). A video signal processing unit(460) processes a video signal and outputs the processed video signal on a display(465). A control unit(410) converts the multimedia file stored in the storing device(430) into the audio signal and the video signal through the multimedia file play program and the codec, and outputs the audio signal and the video signal to the audio signal processing unit(450) and the video signal processing unit(460).
