An alarm unit(106) sounds the alarm to a user when a call or a message is received through an RF transmitting/receiving unit(101). A memory(103) stores association information obtained by associating a moon phase and a call or message reception alarm method so that a method of alarming a call or message reception can be changed by a change in the moon phase. A controller(104) controls the RF transmitting/receiving unit, the memory and the alarm unit in order to sound the alarm according to the alarming method corresponding to a current moon phase through the association information stored in the memory when a call or a message is received.
