Summary: | Provided are a finishing material for buildings, which is harmless to man and environment and has flame retardancy, high adhesiveness with concrete, wear resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance, and good appearance, and a concrete floor finishing method using the same. The finishing material for buildings consists of: an impregnation material(2) to be infiltrated into a concrete surface; and an aqueous coating agent(3,4) having strong complex bonds through multi-coordinate bonding using a chelating agent. The impregnation material(2) and water-based coating agent(3,4) are used step by step. The impregnation material(2) is formed by mixing 100 parts by weight of a colloidal silica dispersion having a silica content with a particle size of 10-30nm of 15-30wt% relative to the weight of the silica dispersion, 7-15 parts by weight of a water-soluble alkali metal silicate, and 5-10 parts by weight of aluminum hydroxide. |
