Summary: | A light emitting device is provided to avoid loss of an optical signal and deterioration of a characteristic by forming a light emitting structure on a buffer formed on a substrate. A light emitting structure(250) includes an active layer made of InxAlyGa1-x-yN. Adhesive(405) is deposited on a main surface of the light emitting structure. A light-directing device(410) is attached to the main surface of the light emitting structure by the adhesive. The light emitting structure is a first fabricating unit, and the light-directing device is a second fabricating unit independent of the first fabricating unit. |
